Reset the process

Practise lifting consistent panels with the comb first, then cut a mannequin zone using short sequences followed by a step-back check. Compare the next attempt with the same viewing angle, timing and criterion.

Know when to stop and ask

Keep scissor tips controlled around ears and facial features, and close the blades before changing position. A trainer should be involved when the learner cannot explain the cause, the remaining material will not support another correction or client comfort changes.
