Cookie & Online Technologies Policy
The current website uses essential technology to sign users in, protect forms and operate securely. It is not configured to use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural tracking.

2. What The Guild currently uses
- Essential host-only session cookies used to keep authorised Students, Guardians and Staff signed in and route them to the correct portal.
- Security data associated with requests, such as timestamps and limited network information, to rate-limit forms, investigate misuse and protect accounts.
- Provider-level operational records needed for hosting, reliability and security. These are not used by The Guild to build advertising profiles.
3. What is not currently used
The public site is not currently configured with advertising pixels, cross-site behavioural advertising cookies or a marketing analytics platform. Because only essential technology is presently used, there is no non-essential cookie preference banner.
4. Your browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may stop authentication, secure uploads or portal functions from working. Browser settings affect only that browser and device.
5. Service providers and privacy
Hosting, authentication and payment providers may use essential technologies on their own secure pages. Their notices may apply to that interaction. See our Privacy Policy for information about providers, disclosures, security and overseas processing.
6. Future changes
Before introducing non-essential analytics or advertising technology, we will update this policy and implement any consent or notice controls required for the intended audience and applicable law.
